How we work

From first brief to annotated findings — the rhythm behind every Service Canvashub engagement.

Service Canvashub engagements follow a quiet, repeatable rhythm. The shape scales from a short cohort review to a full retention audit; the principles stay the same.

The four movements

  1. Brief — You describe the retention question, the plan catalogue, and what changed recently. We confirm whether an audit, cohort review, or workshop fits.
  2. Evidence — You send exports you already own. We read cohorts, cancel language, and billing events without demanding production access.
  3. Table — A working session tests interpretations with the people closest to renewals. Disagreements are welcome; unresolved ones are written down.
  4. Brief out — You receive annotated findings, owners, and a short experiment list. Clarification calls sit inside the engagement window.

What you prepare

  • A nominated decision owner and a data owner
  • Weekly cohort counts for the windows under discussion
  • Recent cancel comments or survey tags, even if messy
  • Notes on plan renames, price tests, or billing vendor changes in the last two quarters

What we refuse to fake

We will not invent urgency, scarcity, or guaranteed retention lifts. App analytics for subscription retention is interpretive work grounded in your evidence. If the sample is thin, the brief says so.

Where this leads

Most clients move from a retention audit into a renewal workshop once findings need owners. Others start with a cohort review before a price change. When you are ready, request a review.
